The container train carried a variety of goods, including solar photovoltaic components, fabrics, and cold-rolled metal sheets. Local products such as ceramic sanitary ware from the Tangshan area were also part of the cargo. The operation of this block train effectively reduces transportation time and gradually forms an efficient, energy-saving, and cost-effective sea-rail intermodal transportation route connecting Central Asia and Central Europe.
To ensure the smooth operation of the train, CR-Beijing’s Freight Transport Center provided round-the-clock online services through the 95306 railway freight e-commerce platform. They provided one-stop services including reporting customer demands promptly, conducting electronic signing, and offering online tracking services. They also promoted a four-party contact mechanism involving railways, ports, shipping companies, and freight forwarding companies. This mechanism continuously optimized the organization processes such as acceptance, inspection, and loading of CRE trains, dynamically adjusted the operation areas for container stacking and loading routes, ensuring safe transportation and improving the efficiency of train operations.
To guarantee the safety and smooth departure of the train, the Tangshan Locomotive Depot, responsible for the traction task, organized special training sessions in advance for drivers on shunting operations. They conducted risk assessments on key operational aspects within the Caofeidian Port area and railway-dedicated line area. The training focused on guiding and controlling key points such as trailer coupling, track switching, and signal confirmation in the station area, ensuring the safe departure of the train.
